Buffalo Niagara at a Crossroads
In his fourth annual community address on Sept. 23, University at Buffalo President John B. Simpson called on New York State to create and fund a coherent higher education policy and the Western New York community to continue its financial, political and moral support for UB and its strategic plan, UB 2020. Noting that UB and the region are at a crossroads, he called UB 2020 the path to a bright future for the region and the road to choose over "the path of doing business as usual."
