Dear UB Believer,
I write to you—a supporter of UB who shares our vision that a strong UB will translate into a brighter future for all of Western New York—to invite you to join me when I present my fourth annual address to the community on Wednesday, September 23.
Launched five years ago as a long-range plan for achieving institutional greatness, UB 2020 has become much more than a University at Buffalo initiative. UB 2020 is embraced by our larger communities as a vital path toward economic revitalization and growth for our region, state, and beyond.
Regionally, as well as nationally, public research universities like UB are playing a more critical role than ever in responding to these challenging economic times.
I look forward to seeing you on September 23 at 8 a.m. in Asbury Hall, 341 Delaware Ave., Buffalo. Please register by September 21.
Sincerely,
John B. Simpson
