Dear UB Believer,

In his fourth annual community address, delivered to a packed house at Asbury Hall on Sept. 23, University at Buffalo President John B. Simpson called on New York State to set a sensible higher education policy and asked the Western New York community to continue its financial, political and moral support for UB and its strategic plan, UB 2020.

 

Noting that UB and the region are at a crossroads, where they must choose between the status quo and economic revitalization, he called UB 2020 the path to a bright future for the region and the path to choose over doing business as usual.

 

Simpson said UB will do “everything within our power to make good on the UB 2020 promise. We will remain steadfast in our pursuit of excellence and unwavering in our commitment to this community.”
